The Wisconsin State Rosemaling Association (WSRA) supports the art of Norwegian decorative painting known as Rosemaling which developed throughout Norway in the 1600s.
We have many opportunities to learn and enjoy the art of Rosemaling. Our members participate in exhibitions and sales of Rosemaling pieces, representing the unique regional styles of Telemark, Hallingdal, Gudbrandsdal, Vest Agder, Rogaland, Valdres, and Os.
